Irwindale Sewage Loss Clean Up
1/17/2017 (Permalink)
A residential home in Irwindale suffered a sewage loss due to a drain pipe behind the kitchen sink bursting. The water affected the kitchen walls, kitchen cabinets, kitchen flooring, and the crawl space.
SERVPRO of Glendora/San Dimas was called to the Irwindale home. The sink and counter top were removed in order to access the source of the water. Wet cabinetry, wet plaster, and non-salvageable vinyl, was removed and disposed of. An asbestos test was done to insure no toxic materials were in the air from the water coming in contact with insulation in the crawl space.
SERVPRO of Glendora/San Dimas set up dehumidifiers and air movers in order to dry the Irwindale kitchen and crawl space. A barrier was set up to separate the affected area from the other area of the house. SERVPRO of Glendora/San Dimas finished the job, making sure the affected kitchen area and crawl space was free of water.
