Extreme Case of Mold

There are times when a tenant must make a stand with a landlord to take notice of the presence of mold and the contributing causes in a rental unit.

In April of 2017, SERVPRO of Glendora/San Dimas was called by a Plumbing Contractor who recommended we inspect for the possible presence of mold in a rental unit.  The tenant had noted the dark discoloration along the baseboards of the unit she was living in and notified the building owner.  After months of repeated notifications, finally the tenant payed for a plumber to determine if there was a water leak.  In short, there was a water leak and mold.  Looking at the picture, there was plenty of water and food for the mold spores to grow as well as mushrooms!  Better call SERVPRO......
